The offered position is within the Process Division and the candidate will be part of an existing group of experienced people working on plant and equipment process design.

The main responsibilities are:

• Definition of optimal process configuration, plant simulation, design of process equipment;
• Preparation of process documentation for Technical Proposals, Feasibility Studies and Basic Engineering Packages;
• Technical support to proposal activities, including visits to Customer for clarification meetings;
• Technical support to business development activities, including visits to Customer with promotional purpose;
• Site surveys and assistance to start up and test run;
• Technical support to Customer Care department for troubleshooting and plant performances evaluation.
• Participation to main conferences and events in the area of competence

Job requirements

Education

Master's degree in Chemical Engineering focused on process development

Languages

Very fluent written and spoken English

Skills

• Good knowledge of software tools for plant simulation and equipment;
• Availability to travel for contacts, discussions with clients, site surveys, plants start-up and guarantee test runs;
• Good team player, ability to build relationships inside and outside the company, self-motivated with strong communication skills.
• Commercial skills

Experience

• 4-6 years of work experience in a similar position in an engineering or technology company operating in chemical or petrochemical plants;
• Specific work experience in Syngas/Urea fertilizers will be considered as a preferred qualification.
