We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D Department team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work in an international, detail-oriented, and dynamic environment, contributing to cutting-edge projects.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of process equipment and selection of suitable materials to enhance existing Casale technologies and create new solutions

  • Lead and manage R&D projects from concept to execution, ensuring technical excellence, time, and budget compliance

  • Conduct mechanical integrity analyses, including FEM simulations, stress, and heat transfer calculations

  • Design pilot reactors, test rigs, and other experimental setups to support R&D activities

  • Prepare technical documentation and specifications for suppliers, evaluate offers, and support procurement processes

  • Collaborate closely with process, materials, and project engineers to deliver optimal, innovative designs

Job requirements


Education

✅ University degree in Mechanical Engineering

Languages

✅ Fluent in English and Czech (min. B2 level)

Software knowledge

✅Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD) and FEM tools (preferably Ansys)

Skills

 Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills

Experience

✅ Experience with static or pressure equipment design is a plus

✅ Familiarity with pressure vessel design codes (ASME VIII, AD2000) is a plus
