Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work in an international, detail-oriented, and dynamic environment, contributing to cutting-edge projects.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

• The coordination of the job team taking care of the technical and organizational problems in projects

• Ensuring the compliance with contract requirements, the implementation of the established procedures and controls

• Ensuring that engineering contract documentation is distributed to the specialty engineers so that each of them can perform his pertinent activity

• Supporting that the engineering activities are carried out within the established time schedule and the budget of manhours allocated for the job

• Requesting the proper authorization for any exception or modifications to the established procedures or to contract requirements

• The verification according to the established procedures of the documents produced by the Specialty Engineers

• Ensuring the issue of the pertinent contractual specifications, including specific Client requirements

• Reviewing with the Project Manager all the needs and technical aspects for the job

• Attending Hazop and SIL review meetings if needed

• Ensuring the homogeneity of the engineering work carried out by the assigned Specialty Engineers

• Ensuring that documents are filed according to the established procedure

• Reminding all members of the Project Specialty team to observe the ethics of confidentiality on technologies licensed by Casale, Clients or Third Parties and observing the ethics himself/herself

• Issuing the Monthly Progress Report, when required by the established procedure

• Executing the assigned activities in accordance with the applicable standards, procedures, work instructions, job requirements and the time schedule, following the instruction given

• Keeping manager informed on the status of activities assigned to them

• Ensuring adequate flow of design information with the other members of the job team

• Preparing, according to the sharing of the activities, specifications including any specific Client’s requirements, data sheets, material requisitions, technical evaluations of bids pertaining to their activity

• Providing assistance to process discipline

• Performing control activities of Vendor drawings and documents in compliance with the purchase order instructions and requirements. Such activity includes coordination and exchange of in/out information with other disciplines

• Performing review and comment of engineering contract, review of plant model for layout

• Supporting Inspection Discipline for special purpose equipment

• Collecting “as built data” and implementation of pertinent documents

Education

✅ University degree – mechanical field

Languages

✅ Knowledge of English – ideally at a communicative level, with the possibility to improve skills through company courses

Skills

• Participation in two completed projects as minimum

• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) and 2D CAD system

• English (spoken and written), Czech/Slovak native, Russian is an advantage

• Proactive approach, ability to learn quickly, team work

• Communication skills, willingness to travel, thoroughness, common sense
