INSPECTOR (SUPPLIERS QA CONTROL)

Job description

Carry-out the Quality Inspections c/o the Vendor’s workshop and at site
Issue and register the Inspection Reports on the Company Document System
Report to the Section Manager of QC & Expediting on the main critical inspections
Control and approve the Vendors’ QCPs/ITPs, WPS/PQR and quality procedures, according to the Company/Client requirements and applicable Codes & Standard
Ensure the correct application of the approved QCPs/ITPs, WPS/WPQR and quality procedures as per Company/Client requirement and applicable Codes & Standard
Coordinate the quality activities, in cooperation with the engineering discipline
Control and approve the NDT examination results performed by the Vendors
Identify the Suppliers’ Non-Conformities and ensure the correct solution
Release the Vendors’ supplies according to the Company procedure, in coordination with the Logistics
Control the Inspection Report issued by external QC Agencies

Education: Technical Diploma
A minimum of 3-5 years work experience in a similar position
Ability to work well under pressure and in a dynamic environment
Availability and willingness to travel
Fluent, written and spoken, English
Good knowledge of MS-Office, Internet and general databases
The Candidate should be a good team-player, self-motivated with strong organizing skills able to build relationships inside and outside the Company
Experience in welding technology (EWE, IWE or EWT certification is advantage)
The following Certifications will be considered as a plus:
- Liquid penetrant test examination – 2° lev ASNT-TC1A or EN 473
- Magnetoscopic test examination – 2° lev ASNT-TC1A or EN 47
- Ultrasonic test examination – 2° lev ASNT-TC1A or EN 473
- Radiographic test examination – 2° lev ASNT-TC1A or EN 473
