INSPECTOR (SUPPLIERS QA CONTROL)

Job description

  • Carry-out the Quality Inspections c/o the Vendor’s workshop and at site

  • Issue and register the Inspection Reports on the Company Document System

  • Report to the Section Manager of QC & Expediting on the main critical inspections

  • Control and approve the Vendors’ QCPs/ITPs, WPS/PQR and quality procedures, according to the Company/Client requirements and applicable Codes & Standard

  • Ensure the correct application of the approved QCPs/ITPs, WPS/WPQR and quality procedures as per Company/Client requirement and applicable Codes & Standard

  • Coordinate the quality activities, in cooperation with the engineering discipline

  • Control and approve the NDT examination results performed by the Vendors

  • Identify the Suppliers’ Non-Conformities and ensure the correct solution

  • Release the Vendors’ supplies according to the Company procedure, in coordination with the Logistics

  • Control the Inspection Report issued by external QC Agencies

Job requirements

  • Education: Technical Diploma

  • A minimum of 3-5 years work experience in a similar position

  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a dynamic environment

  • Availability and willingness to travel

  • Fluent, written and spoken, English

  • Good knowledge of MS-Office, Internet and general databases

  • The Candidate should be a good team-player, self-motivated with strong organizing skills able to build relationships inside and outside the Company

  • Experience in welding technology (EWE, IWE or EWT certification is advantage)

  • The following Certifications will be considered as a plus:
                 

    • Liquid penetrant test examination – 2° lev ASNT-TC1A or EN 473

    • Magnetoscopic test examination – 2° lev ASNT-TC1A or EN 47

    • Ultrasonic test examination – 2° lev ASNT-TC1A or EN 473

    • Radiographic test examination – 2° lev ASNT-TC1A or EN 473
